I just wanted to say a quick Happy Birthday to X-Digg. They are one year old this week and that is pretty awesome when you look at how much they have grown. Rarely do you find a place that is useful for both adult webmasters and adult surfers at the same time and rarely do you see it grow so fast. From being a social networking tool to some of the hottest tube videos on the net to providing adult sellers with a place to auction off their goods (no more e-bay for us!), X-Digg has been considering the needs of those involved with and those loving the adult industry.

I’m looking forward to seeing the many good things to come from X-Digg in the future.

Okay first of all this is an Opinionated Editorial. I have just learn of the “Guilty Verdict” in the Max Hardcore Case. Jurors in the Max Hardcore obscenity trial have returned a verdict of guilty on 10 federal counts of distributing obscene materials over the Internet and through the mail. His company, MaxWorld Enterprises, was also found guilty on 10 related counts. I believe Max’s attorney summed things up best. “This is a sad day for America,” Hardcore attorney Jeffrey Douglas told XBIZ reporters. The lawyer was noticeably upset. “Like I said in my closing remarks, this was a shameful prosecution. I don’t have anything else to say.”

Okay - yes we are a Canadian Company and our website X-DIGG was developed because we believe in the freedom of speech for all adults. My thing is What the Fuck - America is the land of the free? Free what? Sure you allow same sex marriages, you allow minors to drink alcohol (as long as they are celebrities! and don’t argue the point LA Clubs allow for all teen stars and debutants to drink, even the ones under 21), and Murder is escapable if you are rich, famous or a celebrity. You can get a blowjob in the White House (by someone whom is not your wife) and lie to America about it - but that it okay. You can even be a Politician or Priest caught with an escort or hooker, and that is usually overlooked. But if you want to Make and Sell Hardcore Porn, you are basically the devil and should loose all your belongings (yes folks they seize your assets, and don’t return them) and you go to Jail. I thought America was the country or tolerance and the “pursuit of happiness”? I guess not.

Folks we are not talking about child porn or those things, yes they are wrong and people involved in that need to be dealt with harshly. We are talking about sending a man to jail for making a video that some postal inspector ordered online and when it arrived deemed it was inappropriate. This was not a video sent to or viewed by a minor, but some civil service adult and a bunch of attorneys. Sure there are a lot of Adult Fetishes out there that are beyond my understanding, but to each there own. I personally don’t like food, fisting or urinating on people, but hey some guys (and face it girls) love that and get erotically aroused / stimulated by it. Was a person harmed NO!

What is the difference between Good Porn and Bad Porn? What is considered hardcore porn? What is obscene?
I can’t answer that question because in the end it is just my opinion. But isn’t that the problem… it is what’s currently acceptable! Many years ago Anal sex was sodomy and if caught doing it, arrestable in many areas - so the guys screwing their wifes in the ass needed to do so quietly! Hell if you were Gay basically everything that you did was obscene! But times do change, and 20 years from know what Max Hardcore was selling may be considered boring, right there with the calm Playboy magazine.
What will cause the change.. people will. People with the belief that they should not be ashamed that they are gay (oh wait people have been doing that - being Gay is now okay), or that they love to screw there lover in the ass, or spit on a girls pussy. Sure there will always be the religious zealots and right-wing politician in the world ( many of the same screwing little boys, and or escorts, secretly away from the public eye).

So what of this rant, well I am now done. Also sadden that what I believed was a great country of America, is just some pipedream. Jeffrey Douglas said “this is a Sad day for America”, but I say “it is a Sad Day for all adults world wide”.
